Greg Reed
Places for People Group Chief Executive
Greg is a purpose-driven senior executive, expert at setting strategic direction and proven at delivering strong, sustained commercial, customer and people outcomes. Before Places for People, Greg was UK CEO HomeServe Plc, and this followed a 20-plus year career in international banking with senior leadership roles at Bank of America and RBS Group.

Richard Gregory OBE
Places for People Group Chair
Richard has held the roles of chair, senior independent director and non-executive director across a range of private and public sectors. Currently Richard is also Chair of the specialist lender Together Personal Finance Ltd. Former roles include Senior Advisor to Virgin Money PLC, Senior Independent Director and Risk Committee Chair of the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group (CYBG PLC) and Chair of the Yorkshire Bank Pension Trust.

Rob Thomas
Investment Committee
Rob has over 26 years’ industry experience. Rob has held positions in the Bank of England, the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the European Mortgage Finance Agency project.

Claire Ainsworth
Non-Executive Director
Claire is a former Managing Partner and current partner of Triple Point LLP. She has over 31 years’ industry experience including 16 years in structured finance at Deutsche Bank where she was a Managing Director.

Stephen Hazell-Smith
Investment Committee
Stephen has more than 15 years’ experience managing funds, including Mercury Asset Management and GT Management. He currently holds directorships at Octopus AIM VCT plc, Puma VCT 10 plc and Businessagent.com.

Adam Davis QC
Risk & Compliance Committee
Adam is a Barrister of 32 years’ experience and appointed as Queens Counsel in 2012. In 2002 he was appointed to sit on the “Specialist Fraud Panel Appeals Committee”. In addition, he is an accredited lecturer on the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Confiscation and Money Laundering), lecturing to solicitors and barristers, accountants and financial institutions. Adam also advises companies on Money Laundering matters.

John Tatham
Interim Managing Director and Finance Director
John has held senior positions in finance, investment and corporate governance for over 25 years. Over the past 20 years he has focussed on real estate investment and has been instrumental in financing transformational regeneration projects across the UK. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and moved to corporate finance at PWC before working in corporate governance at Thorntons PLC and Bass PLC and becoming Finance Director for the East Midlands Development Agency leading a £250m economic development annual investment programme. After a period at GVA advising UK cities on how to attract private sector investment, John joined PfP Capital in 2018 as finance director.

Tim Saunders
Fund Director
Co-founder Tim qualified as an accountant in 1987. He has 27 years’ experience in the private rented sector, first with Johnson Fry Property, then with Pinnacle. Tim set up Touchstone in 2000, growing it significantly and managing its sale to Places for People in 2012. Tim heads up the team managing our PRS fund, now with assets under management in excess of £250m.

Alex Notay
Alex Notay, Placemaking & Investment Director
Alexandra is an internationally recognised expert on Build to Rent, placemaking and sustainable urban development. She has 17 years’ strategic real estate experience to public and private sector clients in the UK, US, Europe and Australia. Alex is chair of the BPF working group on residential ESG, former vice-chair of the ULI UK Residential Council, serves on BPF’s Build to Rent Committee, AREF’s ESG / Impact Investing committee and is a Member of CREFC Europe.

William Kyle
MMR Fund Director
William Joined the PfP Capital team in October 2018 to manage the Mid-Market Rent Fund. He is a Planning and Development Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Before joining PfP Capital William was Development Director for one of the UKs leading developers of new homes for the private rental market.

Mark Vickery
Director, Head of Business Development
Mark joined PFP Capital in April 2022 to head the development of new and existing relationships with institutional investors. Prior to that he worked Legal & General Investment Management, Insight Investment and Henderson Global Investors in various roles, specialising in institutional pension liability risk management solutions and real assets.

Jenni Franklin
Finance and Compliance Manager
Jenni is an experienced finance professional with over 27 years’ experience in the real estate investment management sector. She joined PfP Capital in July 2020 to oversee both the Company’s and investment vehicles’ finances. Prior to this she spent 18 years with Hermes Investment Management (now Federated Hermes) on the Real Estate portfolios of the BT and Post Office Pension Schemes followed by 7 years with Aviva Investors where she was the Finance Manager for various specialist and daily priced Funds and was finance lead on both Fund launches and sales.

Mark Bonner
Asset Manager
Mark has 25 years’ residential development. At Places for People he was responsible for the asset management of the group’s national PRS portfolio, overseeing its growth from 900 to over 3,500 units. Mark was also instrumental in securing the first phase of the innovative Manchester Housing Investment Fund.

Nicholas Santrucek
Investment Analyst
Nicholas joined the PfP Capital team in March 2021 to support the continued growth of the PRS fund. He holds an honours degree in finance with economics, and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and supporting the investment function across funds.
