Meet the management team
Co-founder Chris has 23 years real estate finance experience in tax, treasury and financial management. As a director of Places for People he established the first unsecured European Medium Term Note Programme by a registered provider of social housing and led the treasury team in its entry to the retail bond market, issuing £180m of retail bonds.
Alexandra is an internationally recognised expert on Build to Rent, placemaking and sustainable urban development. She has 14 years’ strategic advisory experience to public and private sector clients in the UK, US, Europe and Australia. Alex is a published author and editor of over 30 books and reports on real estate including the renowned ULI UK Best Practice Guide on Build to Rent (2014, 2016).
Build to Rent Fund Director
Co-founder Tim qualified as an accountant in 1987. He has 22 years’ experience in the private rented sector, first with Johnson Fry Property, then with Pinnacle. Tim set up Touchstone in 2000, growing it significantly (both organically and through acquisition) and managing its sale to Places for People in 2012. Tim will take primary responsibility for the PRS fund.
William Joined the PfP Capital team in October 2018 to manage the Mid-Market Rent Fund. He is a Planning and Development Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Before joining PfP Capital William was Development Director for one of the UKs leading developers of new homes for the private rental market.
MMR Fund Director
Oscar is a qualified chartered surveyor with over 9 years’ experience within the residential and student accommodation sectors. He has a strong investment management track record having completed on over £2.6bn of property transactions, including the £1.1bn sale of Liberty Living to CPPIB in March 2015.
Mark has 19 years’ residential development. At Places for People he was responsible for the asset management of the group’s national PRS portfolio, overseeing its growth from 900 to over 3,500 units. Mark was also instrumental in securing the first phase of the innovative Manchester Housing Investment Fund.
John joined PfP Capital after two years at Avison Young advising public bodies on regeneration and development investment strategies. Prior to Avison Young, John was with igloo where, as Group Finance and Investment Director, John was responsible for establishing and managing a number of public private partnerships and investment funds delivering regeneration across the UK.
